About Me: Bianka Rose

In case you couldn't tell from the name, I am a girl. That is a fact. And, no, you can't even quote me on that. I have many interests ranging from the intellectual to the un-intellectual for lack of a better (made-up) word. For instance, I love Quiz Bowl. It's the zenith of every Tuesday and Thursday of my business week. Also, I am completely addicted to Sims 2 (got some of you there, didn't I?) to the point of my mother threatening to send me to Sims 2 Anonymous. She also hid the mouse yesterday so I wouldn't be able to play and I started having a migraine. Not a lie. Anywho, I do not like the snow and if I grow up I am most definitely moving to the south. Specifically one of the Carolinas or Virginia. I want to get a job when I grow up so I can make enough money to keep me alive, dressed, and well fed. I like to open presents Christmastime and on my birthday. If you were to ask me, sleeping is one of the best pasttimes ever to be. Someday I want to be trilingual and fluent in French, German, and English. I'm already 1/3 of the way there considering I speak English fluently if not better than some people twice my age. (I don't know, can you?) I don't like hospitals or Ms. Dreske, although without her my life would be quite dull. I have few friends but I consider them all to be close. I do not like crowded spaces, including the ever daunting mall. I am just a little bit claustrophobic and OCD but then again, who isn't? I wish to travel the world someday and run a half-marathon. I like to swim and chocolate is one of my closest friends (in more than one way). Movies are another great discovery and I really like my Superheroes, including Jason Bourne. I specialize in ART and MUSIC for Quiz Bowl and am currently working on memorizing my packets of those subjects. I like to exercise and I really don't mind school. Learning is great and sometimes makes my head hurt (especially when Ms. Dreske is trying to teach). History is fantabulous (another made-up word)! Jane Austen is one of my heroes (I'm hoping someday to meet my very own Mr. Darcy) and I am absolutely in love with the way Daphne de Maurier writes. I want to someday publish a novel and am currently working on one via NaNoWriMo (www.nanowrimo.org). I think that's it about me. I'm not saying where I live, it shall be one of the numbered mysteries about me although I wish I lived in this place that starts with an E and ends in -urope.

br's big/scary/fun things for '08...yeah...

So for NaNoWriMo, we're doing this thing called 2008- The Year of Doing Big, Fun, and Scary Things Together. So here's what I want to do for '08 that's porbably not so big, scary, or fun to the majority of people out there.
um... my list... i believe it shall be relatively short but long/near-to-impossible for me because i'm not very outgoing or the type of person to try new things. however, i will try most ardently to achieve 100% of the below goals. here's to 2008 and me trying to become more...
-drastically improve my german language skills-quickly (& wholly) recover from i-know-what...-actually put together a well-written novel-get to my seventh generation on sims 2, at least-maintain good grades-obtain a laptop that is MINE-take a day, go to the mall or downtown someplace, and do things i have never done before

Christmas, This Year

Christmas this year was awesome for me and I hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas time & break! I know the break was wonderful because practically anytime off school is just that... Anywho, here's what I got for Christmas.
-Portable DVD Player (which I love)
-Batman Begins!
-Sense and Sensibilty!
-Purple sweater...
-jump rope (I love those things, and yes, I asked for it from my parents this year)
-body spray stuff
'Twas awesome! Then I gave my brother (who was my secret santa cause we do that in my fam.) a foot bath, Cinderella Man, and a bag of popcorn. He liked it, needless to say. (oBvIoUsLy!)

Sims 2

Sims 2; my life just in CD-Rom format. OK, so you've probably heard me mention Sims 2 from time to time. Well, I love that thing. If my computer was to ever crash, I would have an emotional breakdown. I would probably need therapy. Not a lie. What's Sims 2? some people may ask. To these people my immediate response would be, 'WTFREAK??? YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT SIMS 2 IS??? ARE YOU SICK??' After the initial shock, I would eventually answer their quesion. Sims 2 is a computer game that involves making a family, controlling their lives, building their houses, getting lots of money by getting really good jobs, and expanding their families. Some Sims 2 players-who I would call fakes-just play the game to build a house and create new people. They are all phonies and I spit on you!! Anyway, so I'm on my fifth generation and am actually just a bit saddened by this. Why? you may ask. I'll tell you why. On www.thesims2.com (my second home), there are some people who are on their fourteenth generation. Needless to say, I need to step it up a notch and get busy. The Clives and their branches (de Winters, Hulversons, Steeds, Tildens, Tellermans, Survaelians, and Walters) are by far my most favorite families. They are like my best friends, just simulated, you know?
